"This week after many years living in the same house we decided it was time to move from Watford and relocate to Rickmansworth.

After 12 years in the same house we had accumilated a great deal of, as my husband Stephen would put it ’RUBBISH’. We thought for a few minutes about doing the move ourselves then came to our senses and decided to use a removal firm.

Amber Moves was the obvious first choice to contact, as Stephen knew them through the BNI .

The initial quotation was quick and very competitive and we felt confident that Amber Moves were a professional company with a good reputation.

We were given all the infomation we needed and took delivery of boxes and all the necessary tools very early on and this was such a great help, as I was able to pack slowly!!!!!! We were also given a demo on how to make boxes, which was more fun than watching it on Blue Peter!!

The day of the move could not of gone any smoother. Four delivery men who arrived on time were cheerful throughout, polite and courteous at all times to all of our family including our doberman dog!!

I did not feel at any point concerned about any of our furniture being damaged , as the team took great care with everything that went onto and came off of the truck. The speed at which items were dismantled and put together again was amazing, their teamwork was excellent and this showed throughout the whole move.

Its obvious to me that Amber Moves employs staff that take tremendous pride in their work.

Amber Moves have made our move completely stress free and although I dont want to move again just yet, I would definately be using this firm again and most certainly would recommend to other people.

For the benefit of the person reading this letter, I am a Director of Kings House Management, a group of business centres located in Kings Langley offering serviced and virtual offices, conferencing and storage facilities.

Although our move was not a traditional one, where the moving company usually removes lock, stock and barrel, we still had to ship out all our personal belongings, pretty much everything except core furniture which remained for rental purposes. With a tight deadline to get everything boxed and sent to their storage facility in London, I was delighted that Andrew responded quickly when giving him our formal instruction. I was pleasantly surprised when he turned up to our home later that day to drop off various boxes, packaging tape, bubble wrap and a whole range of storage and protective paraphernalia. We weren’t round the corner from their offices and I was grateful he took the time out to help us get prepared immediately.

On the day of the move, we had two gentlemen to help us who carefully packed their truck with our belongings, as you would expect and also helped with last minute packing and advice. They were both delightful to work with and kept us informed as to their progress. When we needed a number of items back some weeks later for our move into rented accommodation, Andrew and two other colleagues arrived earlier than scheduled to get our items back into place. From start to finish, their service was professional, communicative and very reasonable. They were brilliant!!

I am delighted to recommend Andrew and all his staff at Amber Moves for any of your moving or storage requirements.
