I recently participated with Ishreen Bradley of Bizas Coaching in a programme that blended group and individual coaching sessions. In just three group “Mastermind Sessions” and one individual coaching session I began to see some things that were stopping me from achieving the maximum potential of my business. Ishreen knew when to challenge – in her ever so gentle but effective way, and when to support me and give me confidence. She asked questions that enabled me to see through the fog and gain clarity on my ambitions for the business.

As a result of my work with Ishreen over a period of 2 months, I have already made my marketing campaigns more targeted, put my social media ideas into action and am potentially expanding my business through a joint venture investment to offer services I did not think I would be able to in my garage.

In addition to this, I realized that what makes my business unique is that I am always fair, care to my customers and give them the service they need without trying to squeeze extra business out of them. That is why they keep returning to me… and I have in some cases been looking after cars for three generations in one family. My reputation is very important to me and I need to keep that intact, and I hope through effective marketing to continue to do that.

I had never fully understood how a business Coach could help in my Plumbing and Heating business, however after our conversations I now have an understanding on what holds me back mentally and how to overcome it. Ishreen Bradley of Bizas has been my business coach since January 2011. My business is Properties of the World, an overseas property consultancy. Within less than 3 months from when I started the coaching programme, my sales increased from a sale every 2 to 3 months to 2 sales a month.

Ishreen worked with me to create: structure in my business; tools to track my performance; an easy to use system to manage my time; and promised actions. Importantly, Ishreen helped me distinguish the actions that cause sales and move the business forward to meet my milestones.

Before I starting working with her I was very busy, but not taking the key actions to cause sales. I was unfocused, tired and frustrated!

Ishreen helped me get in touch with what I was passionate about and the aspects of my business that I liked to do and was good at. As important, she helped me distinguish what I don’t like to do in the business and delegate those tasks and functions to others. How it was for me before was that I had to do everything!

Ishreen has also created a very safe space for me to tell her honestly what are the issues with my business that I am struggling with as well as in my personal life. She is never judgemental! Clearing stuff around my personal life is very important as when things are not working there, it has a negative impact on my business.

She has helped me to achieve a balance in my life in terms of work and my life rather than being the slave of my work – e.g., answering emails at 10pm, not taking days off…

I am in a serious relationship with someone after a few years of no relationships and am clear that happened as a result of my coaching sessions with Ishreen.

Ishreen has provided a high level of rigor and has not allowed me to indulge in my excuses and stories for not taking the key actions I agreed to take. Whilst this can be uncomfortable at times, this is exactly the medicine that is making my business be successful!

This year I am on track to earn more money than when I was employed and I made a very good salary when I was employed.
