Utilities generally represent a substantial part of business expenditure and therefore any reductions available are welcomed. Many businesses however, are still paying far higher rates than necessary, as they simply do not have the resources or time to research the market and understand all of the different options available to them.
LSI has been established in the utility industry for over fifteen years, making us one of the first companies to set up within this market. We therefore have the experience and knowledge necessary to best represent our clients, via our successful working relationships with all national suppliers.

As part of our business service, we offer all potential clients a comprehensive analysis of their current gas, electricity and telecom expenditure. Our findings, together with recommendations are passed back to our clients, with whom the final decision rests.
Allowing LSI to review current utility expenditure is not only advantageous because of the in-depth account analysis we undertake, our clients are also guaranteed to obtain the best prices as a result. LSI specialise in group-buying schemes with all national suppliers, of which are clients would not be able to match due to the volume of overall power we are trading, therefore you are benefiting from LSI's economies of scale. This demonstrates customers going direct to the supplier are not guaranteed to get a cheaper option.
There are no direct charges made for our services as all suppliers pay a fee, which is taken into account when each contract is priced and based on LSI's account management and the total volume of power we trade.
A further point to consider in addition to price is that LSI will continue to deal directly with your supplier to provide the after sales support that may be required for any billing or account issues that may arise from time to time and should you move supplier, LSI will deal with the simple transfer on your behalf, therefore leaving clients to deal with their core business matters.
There are now new energy initiatives available that will be of significant interest to your company, this will allow you to control energy usage and at the same time, reduce CO2 emissions.
AMR Metering – Automated meter reading technology can monitor gas and electricity. On a monthly basis it will identify a consumption profile of your usage, highlighting wastage and/or inefficiency. This data will also be used to validate invoices from suppliers and enable budgets to be managed in a more efficient manner. No more estimates, you can now pay for what you consume.
Carbon Trust – The government has set a target to reduce CO1 emissions by 20% by 2010. In order to achieve these targets, the Government is offering technical assistance and funding to industrial, commercial and public sector organisations with initial free site surveys, 100% funded by the Government, by an experienced listed consultant advising on energy saving measures that will cut carbon emissions and at the same time could save your business up to 30% off your energy bills, dependent upon site surveys. Grants of up to £10,000 are also dependent upon criteria. Again LSI can advise you in this regard.
