Overview
Not just your ordinary payroll company, Futurelink’s services are geared towards the contract or temporary worker. With a number of different solutions to suit industry, location and/or contractual requirements, Futurelink assures that the worker can maximize their take home pay while allowing the employing company to reduce its liability and employment overheads. Employment can be a mine field and getting it wrong can be costly to both parties.
Benefit to Worker
Most workers under PAYE have to work 5 and half months of each year before they can keep their earnings. Income tax and NI swallows a huge chunk of earnings. By utilizing one of our established limited companies, we can invoice their client for all their weekly / monthly earnings, collect their fees and reduce tax liability. Where the worker is already self-employed, Futurelink will safe guard their status and keep them compliant with HMRC.
Benefit to Company
When companies take on employees under PAYE, it costs another 12.8% in National Insurance. Holiday and Sick pay make up for a further 10% so it can get really expense especially when profit margins are tight. Futurelink will take the burden of employment and allow the company to eliminate all these costs. Where the company already takes on contract staff, we will prevent them from receiving hefty fines. What’s more, we charge nothing for our services except for VAT which is claimable in the usual manner.
What’s a great referral?
Either a Contract Worker that is looking to take home more of their hard earned money, those that typically work in specialized fields such as IT, Engineering, Construction, Medical etc. They may be working through a recruitment company or directly for the client. Interim Managers within finance, medical or education may need a limited company to administer their earnings so they can focus on their role. Any Recruitment Agency but preferably those that work in Engineering, IT, Construction, Transport etc. ..And finally, any Accountants who have clients that may be vulnerable to HMRC penalties and fines.
A little about me!
I have been in sales and marketing since I was 17 (sadly that’s a long time) and started selling homes in central London. After 5 years in property sales, I moved into the Recruitment Industry where I placed predominantly technical staff (Construction and Engineering). The last 7 years of recruitment was spent in San Diego, California where I worked for one of America’s largest agencies – AppleOne. If there could be a perfect place to live, it has to be San Diego! Reluctantly, I returned back to England in 2003 where I was offered a position at Futurelink. 7 years on and I am now the Managing Director of the company and still thoroughly enjoying the challenge. Bring it on!!
