BNI Edgwarebury celebrates its 10th anniversary on 14 December 2007 as one of BNI’s top-performing chapters. Last year alone, members passed 2,059 referrals to each other, which generated £529,557 of business. This makes a seat at the breakfast table worth an average £22,000. More than £3 Million of business has been passed between members since the chapter began.

The thriving Bushey-based group was one of the first to be established by BNI National Director Martin Lawson with just 10 members. It is a pleasure to see some of our founding members, such as leading graphologist Allan Conway here to celebrate with us this morning.

Today, BNI Edgwarebury has over 30 enthusiastic and committed local business people representing a variety of trades and professions.

The group’s success is such that several of its earliest members still belong today. Ray Seaton of Arcadia Printing is the chapter’s longest-serving member, clocking up 9½ years. Close behind is Alex Feigenbaum of GDK Garages with 9 years and, hot on his heels is Jeremy Freeman of website consultancy Bamps.com with 8 ½ years.

BNI Edgwarebury meets every Friday in the comfortable surroundings of Bushey Hall Golf Club but over the past decade members have met in French, Turkish and Indian restaurants and even an Irish pub!

Businesses in the chapter include an accountant, bookkeeper, builder, copywriter, electrician, financial adviser, garage, insurance broker, IT support, mailing house, plumber, recruitment agency and solicitor – to name but a few! The group currently has vacancies for a courier, estate agent and florist, among others.
